Literature Text
The promise, the touch, the taste
of something wondrous and rare,
of something -more- than the norm.
I dance on the edge
of normal reality
and the unknown.
Light sparkles about me,
wrapped in the glow.
A whole wide world ahead of me,
changed so much from
how it looks in the stark daylight.
All the sharp edges, softened,
all the sharp colors, muted.
Everything gentler, and yet
seeming more solid.
Everything seems so different,
under the light of a full moon.
I feel like a fairy princess,
bathed in the cool glow.
As the moon smiles down at me,
I almost feel as if this night
were just for me...
And so I sway to music only I hear,
under the moon's magic.
of something wondrous and rare,
of something -more- than the norm.
I dance on the edge
of normal reality
and the unknown.
Light sparkles about me,
wrapped in the glow.
A whole wide world ahead of me,
changed so much from
how it looks in the stark daylight.
All the sharp edges, softened,
all the sharp colors, muted.
Everything gentler, and yet
seeming more solid.
Everything seems so different,
under the light of a full moon.
I feel like a fairy princess,
bathed in the cool glow.
As the moon smiles down at me,
I almost feel as if this night
were just for me...
And so I sway to music only I hear,
under the moon's magic.

Dreaming of the Hero...
Take me to that secret place
that only you know of,
with heroes and magic unknown.
For on your face is written,
a thousand fairy tales, and
songs of mermaids lone.
Your voice rings out, like
the church bells in morning.
Clear and resonant, like
salvation songs in offering.
In your eyes I can catch, a
glimpse of the clear April sky.
They unshackle my soul,
unbound and free to fly.
The blade that you bear,
slays demons of the deep.
Slashing through my darkness,
conquering vices that sleep.
I know you so well, by
the fragrance of your skin;
That lingers on, even in
the absence of your being.
Who are you?
O, where are you?
Won't you tell

Speak To Me of Magic 2
Speak to me of magic
using ancient words
the earth shatters
in high places
leaving just
bits and traces
of dust left on the page.
Holding out a bloody sword
feeling like you've lived too long
with no enemy to point it toward
days slowly tear your soul
as if the constellations
lead to dark places
like a friend.
Literature
Hold Me
Come put your arms around me.
Just hold me.
Let me feel your love.
As I lift up holy hands
to praise you
just hold me.
Hold me up
Hold me close
Let me lean on you.
Your precious hugs
You let me know
that you are here
you'll never let go
I lift my hands in praise
Hold me up
Hold me close
Let me lean on you.
